Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP)
PRP treatment is an autologous procedure (using the patient's own blood) that concentrates platelets and growth factors to accelerate healing in injured tissues, joints, or for skin and hair rejuvenation. For cosmetic purposes it is used for facial skin rejuvenation (acne scars, wrinkles) and hair loss treatment to increase density.
Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy involves harnessing the healing power of your own blood to stimulate natural growth and rejuvenation. The process begins with drawing a small amount of blood, which is then processed to concentrate and separate the platelets and growth factors.
Once the PRP is prepared, it is carefully injected into the target area, promoting cell regeneration and tissue repair.
For hair loss, PRP stimulates dormant hair follicles, leading to increased hair thickness and density.
For facials, PRP enhances collagen production, reduces fine lines, improves skin texture, diminishes acne scarring and helps to fade the appearance of pigmentation
The schedule of treatment-to gain the most benefit would be 3 treatment sessions at least 4 weeks apart. After this, would be a maintenance course of treatment with 1 treatment being performed 6 monthly.

Recovery and Side Effects: The procedure takes about 30 minutes. Some pain or swelling may occur, but it is considered safe with minimal risk.
Results: For hair loss, results may take up to 90 days, with improvement continuing over 6 months.
